Cody's Promotion

Hey Zach, just a quick note to catch up. Not much going on out here in California. Great news though, Cody is being promoted to liquor manager. From what I gather he will be in charge of inventory and stocking and had to have special training on the position. It also comes with a nice raise and pretty regular hours that will be nice for when he gives another try to going back to school in the winter. Nana and Granddad are currently taking care of Uncle Gregg's kitties while he and Auntie Kim are in Santorini Greece to celebrate her turning 50. Hate that number, but what can you do. I certainly don't feel it. Then Nana and Granddad will head our way so Granddad can help me change out the laundry room doors and do some other little repairs around the house. Hopefully you guys have moved through that aweful heatwave I've been hearing about or it didn't hit your area too badly. A friend here at work was in San Antonio and said it was unbelievable there. Graduation

Hi Zach, can't believe that Jessica has graduated from the Paul Mitchell program for hair styling and make-up. (see picture) She did really well and is now considered a professional. Cody and I went to see the ceremony last Saturday night and it blew my mind that one of you is at this stage in their life. Hopefully Cody will soon find some direction. I know he is struggling at the moment and it would surely help to have his whole family's support behind him. He has been working as a barista in the Starbucks kiosk inside his Safeway and doing very well with that. Jeff and I celebrated 7 years together yesterday and had a very nice and sunny walkabout and lunch in San Francisco. This weekend in Juliette's first birthday and I need to go shopping to get her a gift plus I have been getting into thrift store shopping in order to cut back on expenses so I am meeting a friend from work to see several in Danville.
