Winter Birthday Season

Image
Hey Zach, just a quick note to say hi. It has been non-stop birthdays since the beginning of the year. Jeff, his brother, his friends Derek and Ryan, Aunt Christine, Cori's husband Steve and a few others all had their birthdays in the last 6 weeks!! Uncle Gregg and Auntie Kim came over to stay with us for Jeff's this past weekend and we had about 15 people over to celebrate. Jeff's was the last one so things should be a lot quieter in March. After that comes Nana's birthday. She will be 77 years old on April 27th and would love nothing more than to hear from her grandson on her special day. Cody's 21st is not too far off now as well, I wonder if you will be around to help celebrate. You are now an adult and hopefully thinking about all the decisions you made during your childhood. Hopefully some of that will result in a little soul-searching and forgiveness for those you have excluded for so long. Any one of us would welcome you back with open arms, no questions ...

It was a wonderful trip for everyone, but we are happy to be back home to see Cody, the kitties and eat normal food. The weather was beautiful while we were there, no humidity, so it was hard to come back to February temperatures. But, spring is around the corner and the sun is shining longer each day. Cody is even starting a huge vegetable garden with his girlfriend. He is going to grow 3 different kinds of tomatoes, lettuce, onions, basil, sage and peas. I told him I would spring for Buffalo Mozzarella so we can have Caprese salad this summer. Yum. I am still hoping and praying I will hear from you about your ...
