Thank You

Hi Zach, I thought that perhaps if I gave it a while it would happen, but I have not seen any indication that you appreciated the money I sent to you. I am disappointed as I know when you were young, you were happy to write thank you notes to Nana & Granddad and others who expressed their generosity towards you. Of course I did NOT give you the money with the expectation of anything in return, but courtesy and kindness usually brings forth gratitude. At least that is the Zachary I know and Love. I truly do hope that you were able to spend it on something that made you enjoy or that maybe you put it away for something special later on. Either way, it would have been nice to see some sign from you that it made you happy. No word, makes it appear as though the money was good enough to accept, just not me. As always, I am not deterred by your ongoing rejection. It only strengthens my resolve to continue trying to reunite with you one day soon. I will always...

Happy 4th of July!

Hi Zach, I'll bet they really celebrate big down in Texas. Hope you had a nice celebration and got to see some fireworks. We went down to Santa Cruz to stay with Ryan, Alicia and Juliette and a few other people at Alicia's mom's place. Her folks spend the summer back east so they leave their huge house in the mountains for their children and grandchildren to use while they are away. It is beautiful and a great place to relax. The beach and boardwalk is only 10 minutes away so we get to enjoy that as well.It was also a relief to get out of Walnut Creek and into some cool weather. The temperature didn't go below 100 degrees for over a week. The kitties loved it but Jeff and I were done. Things are back to normal and in the 80's now that we are back so we have the windows open and are enjoying the fresh air. Your Aunt Christine is moving to a smaller place in a couple of weeks so I will be going down to help her with a garage sale next Saturday and it will be Jess...
