Seattle Trip

Image
Hi Zach, it's getting close to Thanksgiving and we are still swimming in moving boxes so Uncle Gregg has offered to host this year. Meanwhile we just got back from a very inexpensive weekend in Seattle. Jeff used his Alaska miles so we were able to fly up and see his brother for a total of $25-that was for both of us combined! As is usually the case with Seattle it poured rain most of the time and was pretty cold but we got to do some touring around and had a nice dinner near Pike's Place. Memories came flooding back as I used to take Cody there for a stroll when he was very little and we were still living in Issaquah. On Sunday we watched the Seahawks play the Cardinals but sadly we lost. Monday we went to the top of the space needle where you can see the entire city as well as two mountain ranges. We had lunch at the top in a restaurant that rotates while you eat so your view is constantly changing, then caught the train back to the airport and on home to see the kitties. ...

Next up was Stanford against U of W, not so lucky there, but we held our own against Stanford. The following weekend we moved and your Uncle Gregg and Auntie Kim were there to help us tie up loose ends. The kitties were a little stressed, but they settled in after a few days and I think they will all be really happy here.  The house is amazing and looks like a big beach house with a big beautiful front porch to relax on. There is a pond with Koi and a waterfalls in the back so it is very relaxing and there i...
