The fires and Halloween
I Hey Zach, even though I didn't like turning 57 this year, Jeff's parents came down for a visit so that made it special. They stayed for five nights and we went out to a nice dinner. During that time Nana and granddad were evacuated due to the Northbay fires. It was very scary and stressful and they were unable to go home for over a week. We were worried about the stress is taking it's toll but they are troopers and got through it. Fortunately the neighborhood was saved by our amazing California fire fighters. Others we know we're not so lucky and so we decided this year we would not do Christmas presents and instead would donate to the fire victims. Jeff and I really love the show Vikings on the history channel and when we got invited to a Halloween party we decided to dress up as characters from the show. I am not sure if you watch it but Jeff went as Floki and I went as Lagertha the Shield maiden. Our neighbor Hillary, that sings in a band, was playing...
