Another trip to Desolation Wilderness
Hi Zach, A lot going on these past couple of months despite the pandemic. Granddad turned 86, so we celebrated his birthday as well as Father’s Day and Cody‘s birthday. It was also your grandparents 65th wedding anniversary in July. It was very hard not to be able to celebrate such a mile stone. But we plan on making it up to them in 2021 if possible. Hard to do things like that when you can’t be together, but we zoom as often as we can. Things are beginning to ease up so we planned and took a backpacking trip to Desolation Wilderness with Jeff’s brother and his girlfriend. Ordinarily we would also go with your uncle Gregg and auntie Kim but she was still nervous about Covid. For the first time in 10 years the boats were only taking two people at a time across the lakes to the trail head, but we bet the bullet and paid so we didn’t have to hike an extra 3 miles. We had a great time and Keith and Lulu really loved the location and want to go back with us next year. The...
