Time marches on……

Hey Zach, some sad news this time around as aunt Christine lost her father this month. None of my friends have living parents except me and Jeff. Thinking about it is quite scary as time is rolling on and their passing is inevitable. Nana and granddad ask about you all the time and I fear that they might pass without getting to see you and the young man you have become. Their hearts are broken in many ways, which is why I hope and pray that you might give them one gift before they go. On a positive note we were able to see our new nephew this Christmas when we travel to North Bend, Washington to see Jeff’s brother Keith and his wife Lulu. It was a crazy trip given that there were all kinds of obstacles from insane weather, canceled flights, car rentals, frozen pipes, and power outages! The good news was that because we drove off instead of flying, we were able to stop in and see Cody for a bit in Portland .
