50 Uuuugh!!!

Hey Zach, By now you must really be settled in the house and at school. Still want to hear all about it when you get a chance. I looked at the school online and it looks amazing and I read there are 4 drama teachers there!! That is awesome and there will be lots of opportunities to participate in a program that large.

Well I finally reached a half a century and Cody remembered! It sounds like such a huge number, but people tell me it's just a number and I am trying to remember that. The aches and pains make it hard but I'll get there. Jeff, your Nana and Aunt Christine did a fabulous job on the party they threw for me on the 'Neptune,' a boat that cruises around the bay at sunset. Jeff made all the arrangements, Nana of course supplied the cake with 'a' candle and Christine supplied her famous spinach dip and some other goodies. Everyone was there and we had a really nice time. The weather was really great so it was a nice way to welcome in year 51. Sheesh.

Jeff's parents had also come down for a visit from Washington and we took them to Tahoe during their stay. They had a really great time and were surprised at how big the lake was. We even showed them where we take off for our backpacking trips to Desolation Wilderness. Autumn set in while we were away so I have packed up the yard for now and am getting ready for the trick-or-treaters to come around. Michelle's wedding is just around the corner and almost all the plans are in place. She wants EVERYONE to wear purple that day. Cody has been getting lots of hours at Safeway but he spends the money faster than he makes it ;) Oh well, he'll figure it out one day. I attached some photos of the party. My friend Cori still has to send me the rest so I will post more later. Hope you are doing OK. Love and miss you as always,
Mom
