Life goes on......

Hi Zach, lots going on these days and I am sure you are quite busy with school and other activities as well. I was at a conference last week and Cody took care of the kitties and the house for me. He actually did really well and kept things clean for me. I was quite impressed. Jeff's parents arrive from Washington this week for my party and we hope to take them to Tahoe for a couple of days next week since they have never been. Cody works almost 30 hours at Safeway this week so that should put some money in his pocket. He and grandad will be installing a new floor and toilet in his bathroom at the end of the month. That should be interesting. Auntie Kim and Uncle Gregg are going to their house on the Big Island next month but are busy with their new kitties and introducing them to Soho right now. I posted some more pictures so you could see them.

As always, I would so love to hear from you about school and whatever else you are doing. I wish you could find it in your heart to communicate with me and the rest of the family. Nana and Granddad are heartbroken and miss you so much. It's especially hard for them. I will write again soon when I have more news. Hope all is going great for you in Texas.

Hi Zach, we are waiting for spring to come here in Benicia as most days have been  rainy and chilly. Your mom has always loved beach weather and can’t wait for summer lol. Hope that wherever you are, you are enjoying the outdoors. Aside from celebrating Jeff’s 54th birthday, February was fairly quiet around here. I have been working a lot of shifts at the winery which is still the best job ever and Jeff and I have been preparing for the first vacation. we have had alone together in two years. We flew down to Curaçao, which is part of the Netherland Antilles and is close to Aruba. We had a very relaxing and amazing time in the warm weather and on the beautiful beaches. Came home to that drizzly chill and are back to waiting for sunshine. I often wonder if you travel for fun and if so, what places you have discovered and if you have any favorites. Holiday Spirit

  Dear Zach, hoping you got the Christmas and birthday cards I sent to you. Cannot believe you are 30 years old now. I can’t really say time has flown given  that not being able to see you has left a huge void in our lives. The holiday season is always bittersweet in that our family always finds ways to celebrate and love one another, but there  are always thoughts of missing  you intertwined.  Jeff and I flew Cody down for the Benicia annual Christmas tree lighting and to see Nana and granddad. It was a short but very special weekend. I have included the video where Cody surprised your grandparents with his visit. It made them both so happy. It was Jeff’s family’s turn for Christmas so we flew up to Washington to be with his nephew, Maxon and the rest of the family. When I’m Sixty-Four.

Hi Zach, well, now I am officially the age of a Beatles song. It’s hard to believe I’m that old and have yet to reunite with you. It’s been almost 15 years.  I think of you every day of my life and pray that you are happy and loved.  Of course, October means Halloween, one of my favorite holidays. We met up with friends to celebrate and I dressed as Beth from the television show Yellowstone. Perhaps you’ve heard of it. Earlier in the month your aunt Christine and I went to a meet and greet for the actor Sam Heughan from outlander. It’s a show. We are both obsessed with that takes place in 18th century Scotland around the clan Fraser. Up until a few years ago, I had no idea that Jeff’s family are Fraser’s and Fraser is his younger brother‘s and father’s middle name. My head exploded lol.
