Rudy-Digestive Problem Solved

Hey Zach, not that this is top of mind for you but I was finally able to figure out what was wrong with poor Rudy. He always had tummy problems and about 3 weeks ago passed a worm. After some testing it was determined he had round worm and probably got it from his mother's milk. Poor baby, this is why he is only 7 pounds and Stitch is twice that! He has been given the right medicine so now he should be fine and start gaining weight since he won't be sharing his food with some strange critter inside of him. I was so relieved when I figured it out and even though he has always been energetic and loving, once he took the meds he has been even more so.

Not too much going on here except we are getting ready to go to Arizona for Heather's wedding. I can't believe I will be leaving California at about 70 degrees and it will be over 95 degrees in Arizona when we land. Cody will be watching the kitties for me. He has been doing a lot of writing these days, both songs and a book he is working on. I think he will always have lots of high-level thoughts about all kinds of things and need to write them down and get them organized. He has a lot of great ideas and theories that are very interesting to hear and his song lyrics are amazing. I keep telling him he needs to find a producer and get them published.

So how are things out in Texas, have you been getting as much rain as we have here? Nana got 30 inches up in Santa Rosa in the last month. I am ready for the sun and you probably have it already. I sure hope everything is going great at school. You will be closing out your sophomore year soon and then you will be an upper classman. Sure wish I could hear from you and learn all that is going on in your life. Please write when you can. I miss you so much and think of you all the time as always.

Hi Zach, we are waiting for spring to come here in Benicia as most days have been  rainy and chilly. Your mom has always loved beach weather and can’t wait for summer lol. Hope that wherever you are, you are enjoying the outdoors. Aside from celebrating Jeff’s 54th birthday, February was fairly quiet around here. I have been working a lot of shifts at the winery which is still the best job ever and Jeff and I have been preparing for the first vacation. we have had alone together in two years. We flew down to Curaçao, which is part of the Netherland Antilles and is close to Aruba. We had a very relaxing and amazing time in the warm weather and on the beautiful beaches. Came home to that drizzly chill and are back to waiting for sunshine. I often wonder if you travel for fun and if so, what places you have discovered and if you have any favorites. Holiday Spirit

  Dear Zach, hoping you got the Christmas and birthday cards I sent to you. Cannot believe you are 30 years old now. I can’t really say time has flown given  that not being able to see you has left a huge void in our lives. The holiday season is always bittersweet in that our family always finds ways to celebrate and love one another, but there  are always thoughts of missing  you intertwined.  Jeff and I flew Cody down for the Benicia annual Christmas tree lighting and to see Nana and granddad. It was a short but very special weekend. I have included the video where Cody surprised your grandparents with his visit. It made them both so happy. It was Jeff’s family’s turn for Christmas so we flew up to Washington to be with his nephew, Maxon and the rest of the family. When I’m Sixty-Four.

Hi Zach, well, now I am officially the age of a Beatles song. It’s hard to believe I’m that old and have yet to reunite with you. It’s been almost 15 years.  I think of you every day of my life and pray that you are happy and loved.  Of course, October means Halloween, one of my favorite holidays. We met up with friends to celebrate and I dressed as Beth from the television show Yellowstone. Perhaps you’ve heard of it. Earlier in the month your aunt Christine and I went to a meet and greet for the actor Sam Heughan from outlander. It’s a show. We are both obsessed with that takes place in 18th century Scotland around the clan Fraser. Up until a few years ago, I had no idea that Jeff’s family are Fraser’s and Fraser is his younger brother‘s and father’s middle name. My head exploded lol.
