Washington Trip
Hi Zach, well we are back from visiting Jeff's parents in central Washington. Weather was not as warm as we had hoped but we were still able to do a lot. Jeff's dad keeps the statistics for a summer league college baseball team so we went to a couple of games. The team is called the Applesox and the town really puts on a show when they play at home. All kinds of activities between each inning so it's really fun and entertaining. They one every game they played while we were there. I also went to 2 exercise classes with Jeff's mom, aerobics and Pilates which I had never done. Quite the workout. Jeff's brother Keith came over from Seattle and we all had dinner together one night as well as spending the day in Leavenworth, a very cute town all made up to look like a little German village. It is at the base of the Cascade mountains so it is very beautiful and you feel like you are in Europe. The pictures are of me getting onto the 'little' plane that flies us from central Washington back to Seattle. I put on a brave face because I wasn't crazy about the propellers. Didn't think they still had planes with those??? The other picture is of Jeff when he was little and living on San Juan Island in the Puget Sound. We looked at lots of pictures of his family back when he was younger as his mom & dad had put all their slides into images on the computer. It was fun going back in time and learning more about Jeff and his family. I am going to see about doing the slide conversion for Nana and Granddad as they have loads of slides of your Uncle Gregg and me when we travelled all over England and the states together. What would we do without photos? Those are all I have to rely on now when it comes to seeing you. Hope you are enjoying your summer and can find a way to get in touch soon. I love you so much sweetheart,
Mom
