Thanksgiving
Hi Zachary, well I took stock of all that I am thankful for...my family, Jeff, my wonderful and supportive friends and that all are in good health, including you I hope. Our Thanksgiving was small but very meaningful. Cody worked in the morning but was there for dinner which was nice. He even said a prayer for us at the table and it was really good. I said my own prayer silently. We had all the traditional stuff: turkey, mashed potatoes, gravy, zucchini, sprouts, stuffing, sweet potatoes and Jeff's special cranberry sauce. For dessert it was pumpkin and apple pies and Nana spoiled Cody with a fruit and cream tart. It's now gone of course. I have been trying to finish my Christmas shopping early this year so things don't get so hectic. I am almost done and will start on the Christmas cards next. I really miss those times we would decorate the tree together. You had such a knack for putting up all the ornaments and decorations. It's not the same without you though I try to muster some Christmas spirit for those that are still in my life. It's hard and sad at times, especially when I think of all the celebrating you must be doing back there in Texas. I hope you had a wonderful Thanksgiving Zach and that we were somehow in your prayers like you were and always will be in ours.
Love,
Mom
P.S. This is a Halloween picture of Ryan, Alicia and their new daughter Juliette. Isn't she adorable!?
