GLEE
Hi Zach, thought about you even more than I normally do last night while watching the season premier of Glee. Couldn't believe I already had most of the songs they covered on my iPhone. I really do love the show as it reminds me so much of you and all the activities I think you might be involved in.
Jeff and I just got back from New Orleans. It was extremely humid but the people and the food were amazing. The LSU football fans were so generous on game day, inviting us to their tents for homemade gumbo and jambalaya. Best I have ever tasted too! We went on a vampire and ghost tour in the French Quarter and heard some fascinating stories related to the history there. I had know idea of the number of unexplained events that had occurred in the area. Creepy and scary. We visited cemeteries as well, where they bury people in tombs above ground because the sea level would flood the graves otherwise. Very different from California. We were glad to be home though as we had missed the kitties and needed a break from the heat. We saw Cody that night because he picked up some dress shoes he ordered to go with a suit he bought.
We are headed to see Auntie Kim and Uncle Gregg tonight for a pizza party, and this Sunday is Juliette's 2nd birthday. Can't believe that much time has passed already, but you have been gone over 2 years now, so I guess it has. As always, I will make my request for you to reach out to me if you feel it in your heart Zach. I miss you so very much and hope that you are well and happy in Texas.
Love Always and Forever,
Mom
