Hey Zach, it's been a long time. been some pretty significant events lately, and I thought it was a great opportunity to share them with you. Time flies you know and before you know it milestones are passing. The first one is your auntie Kim. September of 2011 she celebrated her 50th birthday. i'm happy to share that at half a century later she's still as vibrant ,active, and spirited as ever. To celebrate I took her to Santorini Island of the coast of Greece (it's actually part of Greece). We were there for 18 days long enough for her to forget about work; which is something she has trouble doing as you know. It was a wonderful trip for both of us and a long time to be in one spot on a tiny island. Guess it proves we really do enjoy each others company. Needless to say we took in the whole island… in detail. It was like we were living there, and as a result we met and befriended a lot of locals. the island is the fractured carter of an ancient volcano surrounded by a d...

December Update

Hi Zach, well another year without you has almost come and gone, but I still hope and pray that one day you will get in touch. I watched Rudolph the other day and it made me cry to think we used to watch that together every year. Nana and Granddad arrived home safely from England. Seemed like they were gone forever. They dealt with two family deaths whilst there. Auntie Nora you already new about but my cousin Sandra who was only 54 passed away suddenly when they were there as well. Sandra was Auntie Doreen's daughter and they are on Granddad's side of the family. You remember Auntie Doreen, she lived in that apartment in Hastings where we had the Boot family reunion. Hastings is where we walked by the sea and got fish and chips in paper at that Chippie called the Blue Dolphin. It was quite a shock as it happened right before Nana and Granddad drove down there. All in all it was mostly a sad trip for them. They did have a wonderful time with Uncle Barrie and also with Auntie...

From Nana & Granddad

Zach, this is Nana & Granddad, another year has almost gone and as we were in the process of putting up the Christmas tree and adding the ornaments some of which you made for us, it brought back memories of Christmas past.  As the family gets together once again without you it’s not complete.  It hurts us all so much especially your Mom & Brother who carry the pain of losing you daily.  Whatever created this split is long gone and time should be the healer.  Please find it in your heart to reach out to your Mom and Brother, your family.  We just got back from England and since I knew everyone would be asking about you I emailed your dad asking for a recent photograph of you and sadly he ignored my request, we fail to see what the objection could have been.  You never told Granddad and me what we were guilty of.  I do know this much, we loved you so very much and want to get back to the wonderful relationship we had, but I have to say I a...
