December Update
Hi Zach, well another year without you has almost come and gone, but I still hope and pray that one day you will get in touch. I watched Rudolph the other day and it made me cry to think we used to watch that together every year. Nana and Granddad arrived home safely from England. Seemed like they were gone forever. They dealt with two family deaths whilst there. Auntie Nora you already new about but my cousin Sandra who was only 54 passed away suddenly when they were there as well. Sandra was Auntie Doreen's daughter and they are on Granddad's side of the family. You remember Auntie Doreen, she lived in that apartment in Hastings where we had the Boot family reunion. Hastings is where we walked by the sea and got fish and chips in paper at that Chippie called the Blue Dolphin. It was quite a shock as it happened right before Nana and Granddad drove down there. All in all it was mostly a sad trip for them. They did have a wonderful time with Uncle Barrie and also with Auntie Eileen, the one who lives near Cambridge where you, me, Cody, Uncle Brian and Granddad went 'punting' on the river near the university and where we caught the train to Kings Cross station where they filmed Harry Potter. That was a wonderful trip and I had so much fun showing you and Cody where I come from. I would love to be able to do that again someday.
Christmas is almost here and Jeff and I will be hosting this year. Nana and Granddad, Uncle Gregg and Auntie Kim, and Cody and his girlfriend will all be coming over to do presents and stockings. It will be crazy, but our Christmases were always full of fun and laughter. Uncle Gregg is cooking a prime rib and we are going to play some games, like 'Who's in the Bag' and Pictionary. Should be a laugh, but we will miss you as we always do. I hope your school finals aren't too tough this term and that you are getting ready to have a wonderful holiday. We are all thinking of you here Zach. Have a wonderful Christmas and try to understand how much we all love and miss you so much.
Love,
Mom
