Just Catching Up....

Hi Zach, I am sure you are aware that the San Francisco 49ers are going to the Superbowl. We will be celebrating the game that day and really hope they win.Other than that, not much going on out here right now except everyone is working hard and nobody has the flu which is good. Your brother is struggling a bit financially. It is really hard to be independent in California where everything is so expensive, but he loves living near his friends as well as me, Nana and Granddad so I don't think living anywhere else is an option right now. He really does his best to make ends meet while all the time taking care of his girlfriend. There are challenges, but he meets them head on with a positive attitude and he is happy which is most important. I hope that you are happy Zachary. I am curious about your plans for after graduation. I had wanted to send you and Cody to England for the summer, but that is not to be I guess. Perhaps one day I will get the chance. Hi Zach, hope you had a fabulous and safe New Year. Did you make any resolutions? I made the most common one......to get in better shape, again. I am hitting the gym at our new place every night so we will see if that has any effect. Lots of birthdays this time of year in addition to yours so last weekend was full of celebrating. Jeff and I babysat Juliette while Ryan and Alicia went to the movies for Ryan's birthday, then we all had dinner together. We took Juliette to the park and then to Starbucks for hot chocolate. Remember you and I used to go there when I worked part time and I would order you a decaf Caramel Machiato. I still drink those you know, but I order the skinny version now. I wonder if you still visit coffee shops with your high school friends? I also wonder about your graduation and when that will be. It's not too far off now and I would so love to be there for you.
