21 Years?!
Hey Zach, I am sorry it's been over a week since I last wrote. Quite a lot going on here. Your brother turned 21 last Saturday and we threw him a big party. I still cannot believe where the time went. Cody Robertson, Ben and Mitch were there as well as Nana, Granddad, Auntie Kim, Uncle Gregg, Michelle and her whole family, Aunt Christine and a few more. We had the Mecca cater so everyone had lots to eat and of course there was a cake and a champagne toast. Cody performed a few of the rap songs he has written and we were all really impressed. He also made a wonderful heartfelt speech and said something special about everyone there. It was particularly touching when he mentioned watering the roses with granddad and making pudding with Nana. We were all in tears as what he said meant so much to all of us. The next day was Mitch's 21st birthday so Cody went to work at 4 AM, then came home and helped him celebrate too.I am so very proud of the man he has become.
Last night was Brittany's graduation party at Michelle's. Brittany will be teaching at a theater camp this summer and she is directing Charlie and the Chocolate Factory that will run in August. Her high school show choir won several gold trophies in Seattle this past spring and I watched them perform at DVC. Brittany is really good, very expressive on stage and the audience loves her. You and she have similar talents on stage and its sometimes hard to watch her knowing I missed your performances when I wasn't allowed to come and then again when you moved to Texas. I wonder if you are still involved in acting, singing and dancing. I remember how much you loved it and how good you were.
Anyway, by now you must be right into your summer break and enjoying the time off with your friends I am sure. I saw my check clear the bank so I am hoping you were able to put the money towards something you really love. I just wanted to give some updates as to what is happening in California. We all send our love and miss you so much Zachary. Any one of us would love to hear from you and will never stop hoping we can be together again. I hope you were able to reach out to Cody and wish him a happy birthday. It would mean so much to him if you did. Better sign off for now. I love you!!!
