Birthdays and Catching Up

Hi Zach, I was really hoping to hear from you, especially today. Lots of people have sent me well wishes on Facebook, many have called and sent texts, but none of the well wishes mean as much as if they were to have come from you. I miss you and wish with all my heart that hearing from you could be the one true gift I get for my birthday this year.

I am thinking you are settled into school by now and that all your classes have been sorted out. I hope everything is going really well for you. Everyone is fine up here in the Bay Area. Jeff and I spent last Saturday with your Uncle Gregg and Auntie Kim. They had just returned from their trip to Germany and the Czech Republic so we got to hear about all their travel adventures. Before that Jeff and I had been in Washington visiting his family for a reunion and then we went to San Juan Island in the Puget Sound where he grew up and saw several of his friends there. We stayed in an awesome Bed & Breakfast that had a resident cat that would sometimes stay in our room and we went whale watching and even brought some pretty nice pieces of driftwood back for the house.

Cody is doing fine in his job. He is hoping to get hired by P G & E along with Mitch who also applied. I am thinking his history and great reputation at Safeway will be a big help so cross your fingers because he really wants to do this. I think the idea of travelling around the state doing all sorts of jobs witht he company is attractive to him and he wants to be able to perhaps spread his music message this way too.

Just got back from dinner with Ryan, Alicia and our little Juliette who is now 3. We went for Sushi and she sang Happy Birthday to me which was really cute. Well that's about it for now. I will write again soon. Please be safe and kknow that I love you more than you will ever know Zach.
