Happy Valentines Day my beloved Zachary

Hi Zach, Lots going on these past two weeks and the best part is a Super Bowl win for the Seattle Seahawks. We had a big party with lots of friends and family. Your brother had to work but Uncle Gregg and auntie  Kim, Nana and Granddad were there. Michelle and her family came as well. Brittany made Seahawks themed cupcakes that were quite the hit. Blue and green cake batter with chocolate frosting, yummy. Besides pursuing drama, directing and choreography, she is quite good at baking and decorating....who knew. Winning the game made for a nice ending to a great day with everyone.

Lately I have been back at the gym doing cardio, Pilates and yoga. Feels good to be getting back into shape. Cody is working hard at Safeway but he is kind of over it. It's been 5 years since he started with them so he is actively looking for jobs elsewhere. He's had a couple of interviews as well as an offer, but nothing good enough to make a move yet.

Hope school is going really well for you and that you are enjoying that famous Southern California weather. Wondering if you go to the beach a lot with friends? As always, I think about you constantly and wish we could reunite. I love you with all my heart and will forever be here waiting.

Love,
Mom

P.S. On a very sad note, Aunt Shari lost uncle Bernie earlier this week. He passes away in his sleep. I am heart broken for her and for Emily, as Shari just lost her mom last summer. Life is unfair and far to short sometimes. I hope we get a chance to make things right before it's too late for us. <3
