Happy Thanksgiving, Christmas is on its way!

Well Zach Thanksgiving has c ome and gone and it's just over 3 weeks until Christmas. Another year has flown by and without any word from you. That scares me more than anything. We all spent the holiday at your Uncle Gregg's and he was chatting with Nana and granddad saying the same thing. He is scared too, not for himself and Auntie Kim but for your grandparents who have suffered another year with broken hearts over their lost grandson. It's so not fair for them and that is the greatest tragedy in all of this. They cry a lot for you and also for your brother who has lost part of his family As well. Holidays are for getting together with loved ones and enjoying family traditions and you are missing out on all of that. I only wish that the spirit of this season would grow strong enough in you that you could finally reach out or respond to our messages of love and hope. If for no one else but Cody as sometimes he seems so lost in life. As strong as he is, he has a huge heart ...

November already!

Wow Zach, I just realized I hadn't written to you since last month. Work has been absolutely crazy busy and we have had quite a few visitors these past few weeks. Last month Jeff's brother and his friend came down for the Washington vs. Call football game - we won 😀 At the beginning of this month my two friends/former coworkers came to visit all the way from chilly Minnesota to tour San Francisco and the wine country. We had awesome weather and a really great time. We stayed one night with Nana and Granddad's so my friends got to meet them too. They even met Uncle Gregg as we spent a day in Sausalito and stopped by to borrow the parking permit for downtown. Saw a glimpse of the new kitchen and it looks amazing. Can't wait to enjoy it when we head over for Thanksgiving, but sure wish we could be seeing you as well.  I did have dinner with Cody last week. He is doing ok, but I know he would be much better if he knew his other family supported him. You are his brother and...
