More festivities abound...
Hi Zach, It is getting hard to keep track of everything going on this summer. Father's Day was spent with the family and a morning brunch down down Walnut Creek. Afterwards your Uncle Gregg, Auntie Kim, Jeff and I got together to wrap up plans for a photo montage your uncle is putting together for Nana and Granddad's 60th wedding anniversary July 16th next month!
Next up was Jeff's parents' 50th wedding anniversary, which is quite a milestone these days. We flew up to Seattle for the weekend to help with the Saturday festivities and spent the next day celebrating as a family. There were 30 or so aunts, uncles, and cousins in attendance and that was not counting the almost 15 little cousins once removed that stayed home. Jeff's family is wonderful, warm and accepting and I am sure you would fit right in. Being as I will be Jeff's wife in the near future I was included in a family photo with all the cousins. They really are so special and the anniversary party went so well.
Next month it's Granddad's 80th birthday, your Grandparents' 60th and our annual trek to Desolation Wilderness. Still trying to catch my breath. I will write some about Cody in my next post as there is a lot going on in his life as well. Not all good I'm afraid. I so wish you could be there for him. He really needs a brother and someone in his corner now more than anything. I miss you sweetheart and will write again soon. Hope all is well and that you are safe and happy.
Love,
Mom
