The Emerald Isle

Hi Zach, aside from having an amazing time in this beautiful country, I learned a great deal about its history and the people. They live a very simple but meaningful lives; they have very little materialistically to speak of, aside from having an amazing time in this beautiful country, I learned a great deal about its history and the people. They live very simple but meaningful lives; they have very little materialistically to speak of, however they are happy and grateful to just be. This spirit is contagious and being around them filled me with such optimism. I was sad to leave all that. We saw castles and green hills, lots of sheep, endless stone walls, I kissed the Blarney Stone and drank a Guinness and toured the factory, but it was the people we met and the time spent talking and singing with them that I will remember most of all. I wish you could have been there Zach as it really is a remarkable and resilient country. They have been through so much yet continue to find the silver lining. It is what I try to do when I think about us. I miss you so very much but I will not give up hope and I have faith that one day we will find each other again and put the past behind us. I hope you get a similar feeling when you look at some of the pictures I have attached here. Please come home Zach. I am your mom and you are my son and that will never change. I love you.
