For Zachary James Pratt

Hey Zach, summer is closing out fast  but we had a great visit from Uncle Barrie. He and his new girlfriend Janet came over to tour the western U. S. and stayed with Nana and Granddad for a week so of course we went up for a visit. Cody came as well and they could not get over how tall he was. As with many English get-togethers we did some singing and Cody sang a couple of songs he has written and played his guitar for us. He really is so good at writing lyrics and music. The following weekend Jeff and I went to see AC/DC in San Francisco. I had never seen them in the seventies when they first came on the scene so it was very exciting to finally watch them perform. They are absolutely amazing on stage.  Real showmen. The weather was so beautiful that we didn’t even need jackets until the show was over around 11. Not sure of the music you are playing these days but I do recall playing some rock for you and Cody in the car. Music is such a huge part of life and I wonder if...

Hi Zach, the planning stage is all very exciting and I would so love for you to be a part of the fun. Jeff and I have a reserved a house on the beach in Kauai that is big enough to put up the whole family. The wedding is on the beach in March and we will have a reception back at the house we are renting. It will be a small intimate affair with just family and close friends and of course it should be a nice vacation for everyone who is going. I am paying for Cody and would love to pay your way over as well as it would be really amazing if I could walk arm in arm with both of my sons out on the beach that day. The girls and I went dress shopping and we found one that is perfect and casual for the type of wedding we are having. They were all so helpful and supportive. We had Champagne at the bridal salon and then went on to lunch afterwards. It was a very special day. I really do have the most amazing friends and family.
