Wedding plans underway!

Hi Zach, the planning stage is all very exciting and I would so love for you to be a part of the fun. Jeff and I have a reserved a house on the beach in Kauai that is big enough to put up the whole family. The wedding is on the beach in March and we will have a reception back at the house we are renting. It will be a small intimate affair with just family and close friends and of course it should be a nice vacation for everyone who is going. I am paying for Cody and would love to pay your way over as well as it would be really amazing if I could walk arm in arm with both of my sons out on the beach that day.
The girls and I went dress shopping and we found one that is perfect and casual for the type of wedding we are having. They were all so helpful and supportive. We had Champagne at the bridal salon and then went on to lunch afterwards. It was a very special day. I really do have the most amazing friends and family. Lots more left to do but you know me and my lists so I hope I don’t forget anything. 
I hope that wherever you are and whatever you are doing these days; that you are happy and fulfilled. I miss you so much sweetheart and truly hope that you will consider being a part of this occasion.

Hi Zach, we are waiting for spring to come here in Benicia as most days have been  rainy and chilly. Your mom has always loved beach weather and can’t wait for summer lol. Hope that wherever you are, you are enjoying the outdoors. Aside from celebrating Jeff’s 54th birthday, February was fairly quiet around here. I have been working a lot of shifts at the winery which is still the best job ever and Jeff and I have been preparing for the first vacation. we have had alone together in two years. We flew down to Curaçao, which is part of the Netherland Antilles and is close to Aruba. We had a very relaxing and amazing time in the warm weather and on the beautiful beaches. Came home to that drizzly chill and are back to waiting for sunshine. I often wonder if you travel for fun and if so, what places you have discovered and if you have any favorites. Holiday Spirit

  Dear Zach, hoping you got the Christmas and birthday cards I sent to you. Cannot believe you are 30 years old now. I can’t really say time has flown given  that not being able to see you has left a huge void in our lives. The holiday season is always bittersweet in that our family always finds ways to celebrate and love one another, but there  are always thoughts of missing  you intertwined.  Jeff and I flew Cody down for the Benicia annual Christmas tree lighting and to see Nana and granddad. It was a short but very special weekend. I have included the video where Cody surprised your grandparents with his visit. It made them both so happy. It was Jeff’s family’s turn for Christmas so we flew up to Washington to be with his nephew, Maxon and the rest of the family. When I’m Sixty-Four.

Hi Zach, well, now I am officially the age of a Beatles song. It’s hard to believe I’m that old and have yet to reunite with you. It’s been almost 15 years.  I think of you every day of my life and pray that you are happy and loved.  Of course, October means Halloween, one of my favorite holidays. We met up with friends to celebrate and I dressed as Beth from the television show Yellowstone. Perhaps you’ve heard of it. Earlier in the month your aunt Christine and I went to a meet and greet for the actor Sam Heughan from outlander. It’s a show. We are both obsessed with that takes place in 18th century Scotland around the clan Fraser. Up until a few years ago, I had no idea that Jeff’s family are Fraser’s and Fraser is his younger brother‘s and father’s middle name. My head exploded lol.
