Boston

Hey Zach!

The second half of April was taken up by a business trip to Boston. It was very unexpected as my manager had to bow out and asked if I wanted to go. It was for an operational risk conference that was quite interesting but I also had time to see some historic sites, namely all of the points of history on the Freedom Trail which was amazing. It was daunting to think that this city was basically the birth place place of the United States. I also got to catch a Red Sox game. They lost, but because we bought the tickets after the game had already started, we got them cheap and sat eight rows behind home plate! This was very exciting as the stadium is quite historic and the fans were so funny and friendly. Basically I squeezed a lot into a very short few days in Boston but came away knowing I would be back someday, as it is a beautiful city.

Let's not forget that your beloved Nana turned 80 on April 27. We are having a celebration in May to mark the occasion. I pray with all my heart that you could reach out and wish her well. It would mean so much to her.

I still do not hear from you but I hope that you are happy and living your life to the fullest. As A child you had so much energy and optimism for life so I am sure that is carrying you through your adventures and experiences as a young adult. I just wish I could share in the creation of some of those memories. Maybe one day............ Until then be safe and be happy and know that I love you with all my heart and think of you every day of my life.

With love forever,
Mom
