Mother's Day

Dear Zach,
How are you my beloved? Early this month we went to your Uncle Greg's to celebrate Nana's 80th birthday as well as Mother's Day. Your uncle and I made dinner, prime rib, green beans and horseradish mashed potatoes, Yum. We all stayed over and had a wonderful time reveling in memories. Cody had to work so he wasn't able to make it😢 He did take me out to dinner the following week for a special Mother's Day treats and insisted on paying despite how little he makes and how much he is struggling. It would be great if you could reach out to him and provide some support. I know he would really appreciate it.

Jeff and I continue to work on the house, mostly the yard and trying to get it in shape for a Bay Area wedding reception we plan on having later this month. Jeff's folks are driving down from Washington, and his brother is flying in. We are planning on having the event at the house, partly as a open house for people who have never seen it and for those who did not get to go to Kauai for the actual wedding.

As is the case every day, I continue to dream and wish and hope that we will one day reconcile. I try to imagine what kind of life you are living and pray that you are happy and that you have love all around you. Until then I send you all my prayers and hugs.

Love always,
Mom

P.S. The two photos are of my two moms, the one I have had on my life and Jeff's mom who has so graciously excepted me into hers.
