Murphy's π
Hey Zachary,
Next up Murphy's! As I said earlier 10 of us had plans to drive up to the Sierra foothills for a three day weekend to wine taste and see a concert. Jeff had booked us into a refurbished school house that has been downtown since the early 1800s. The owners fixed it up so that it sleeps 10 and it worked out perfectly. The place was absolutely stunning and one block from downtown so we walked everywhere to shop, eat, and taste wine. We went back to Hatcher, which is the winery we joined the weekend we got engaged last May 2015. Of course we ended up buying more wine from them even though we are members and have it shipped twice a year, LOL. On Sunday night we went to see Peter Frampton Who is from England as well as Leonard Skynyrd, a band from the deep South who sings the famous song Sweet home Alabama. It was a totally fun concert and we had tickets that were fairly close to the stage so we could see and hear everything really well. Your aunt Shari and aunt Christine drove up with us in the same car so we had a lot of laughs talking about growing up and being teenagers in the Bay Area. Lots of good and funny memories.
Summer is almost over as the nights are getting a bit longer and the sun is not quite as high in the sky as it usually isπ’. Time to get ready for football I guess, LOL. Cody is still working at Safeway and has had a couple of music gigs at a local club that have been really successful. He is trying to break into an industry that is very tough and is giving it his all while still holding down a full-time job. He occasionally struggles and gets depressed but as long as he keeps pushing himself and sticks to it, I am sure he will find success one day. It would be great if you could reach out to him and give him your support, I know he would really appreciate it. Well I hope things are well and as always I miss you more than anything and think of you every minute of every day. I love you.
