Happy 22nd Birthday Sweetheart!

Image
Happy Birthday my beloved Zachary! 22 years old today. I cannot believe that on this day you were born a little teddy bear full of hugs for everyone, especially me. You have grown into a wonderful human being and I am proud you are my son. I hope you had a wonderful celebration surrounded by your friends and loved ones. I am thinking about you today as I do every day and wish you all the best life has to offer. Another Christmas come and gone and this one was quite memorable. As I mentioned earlier my cousin Karen, her husband Paul, and their daughter Bridget joined Nana, Granddad, Uncle Gregg, Auntie Kim, Cody, Jeff and me on Christmas Day. We also had my cousin Simon and his wife Emily who flew in from Detroit where they are on two year assignment from Sweden and will be headed back in February. They stayed with uncle Gregg. Then there was Jeff's cousin Donny whose Company is down from Washington redoing a hotel in Oakland so he came up as well. It was a really wonderful day...

PAC-12 Champions!

Well Zach, we did it, we played Colorado In the PAC-12 championship and won! The game was held at Levi stadium in Santa Clara so we all got to attend. First we went to the alumni party at a restaurant across the street where the band and the cheer squad entertained us. Then it was off to the stadium for an amazing game. We ended up on TV a couple of times as our friends texted photos of us in the stands, lol. After the win we went down near the field to meet the team and see the trophy presentation. It has been a long time coming for the Huskies and it felt really good. Now on to play a bowl game and a try for the national championship! We are trying to get ready for Christmas which will be hectic this year. My cousin Karen and her family recently moved from Texas to Southern Cal, so they will drive up to Nana's to spend Christmas with us, should be a lot of fun and a family reunion of sorts. I am sure you are busy shopping and getting ready for the holidays as well. Hope yo...
