Happy 22nd Birthday Sweetheart!
Happy Birthday my beloved Zachary! 22 years old today. I cannot believe that on this day you were born a little teddy bear full of hugs for everyone, especially me. You have grown into a wonderful human being and I am proud you are my son. I hope you had a wonderful celebration surrounded by your friends and loved ones. I am thinking about you today as I do every day and wish you all the best life has to offer.
Another Christmas come and gone and this one was quite memorable. As I mentioned earlier my cousin Karen, her husband Paul, and their daughter Bridget joined Nana, Granddad, Uncle Gregg, Auntie Kim, Cody, Jeff and me on Christmas Day. We also had my cousin Simon and his wife Emily who flew in from Detroit where they are on two year assignment from Sweden and will be headed back in February. They stayed with uncle Gregg. Then there was Jeff's cousin Donny whose Company is down from Washington redoing a hotel in Oakland so he came up as well. It was a really wonderful day and everyone got on so well and had such a terrific time. We just did stocking stuffers this year, Granddad grilled two legs of pork with crackling, yum. Nana made sage stuffing, I made mashed potatoes, Uncle Gregg took care of the veggies and we had sticky toffee pudding with English custard for dessert. Simon and Emilee brought a proper plum putting all the way from England that we lit on fire as is an English Christmas tradition going back centuries. It was a proper English Christmas enjoyed by all. You missed a good one my love. Hope you had a lovely Christmas too. We all send our love to you and best wishes for a terrific 2017!
