Thanksgiving 2016
Happy Thanksgiving Zach, Jeff and I got a really good deal on flights up to see his parents and brother for Thanksgiving in Wenatchee. So we spent the holiday there, enjoying some snow, Leavenworth, and the annual Apple Cup, which is the Washington Huskies against the Washington State cougars. The game was held at Washington state which is in the town of Pullman near Spokane so we had a 3-hour drive and a cold day of watching the Huskies beat the Cougs and move onto the PAC 12 championship game. We had a total blast meeting all the Washington State fans as well as the Husky fans that drove over for the game. Everyone was super friendly and the campus was beautiful. All in all it was a wonderful experience. The next day we drove to Leavenworth, a town turned into a Bavarian Christmas Wonderland with a Christmas market, Christmas characters and beautiful festive lighting. You really feel like you are somewhere in Germany or Austria and it really gets you ready for the Christmas season. Cody is spending Thanksgiving with uncle Greg and auntie Kim is here but we will all be together on Christmas Day at Nana and Granddad's. I hope you had a wonderful Thanksgiving my love. Miss you always.
Love,
Love,
Mom
