Football and the Holidays
Hi Zach, The last three months have been a blur. Lots of visitors as well as holiday travel. Jeff’s brother Keith and his girlfriend Lulu as well as our friends Chris and Matthew came down from Washington for the Stanford vs. UW game where we tailgated and then promptly lost the football game. We seem to never win when playing Stanford at their house. Still it was a good weekend with great family and friends and lots of hanging out in the backyard just enjoying each other‘s company. We took Nana and granddad out for Thanksgiving since everyone else was off doing other things. Then I cooked a small Thanksgiving dinner for Cody Jeff and I since he had had to work on the day. This year was our turn to go to Washington and visit Jeff‘s parents in Wenatchee over Christmas. Those visits are always special because we have a bit of snow but don’t have to live with it after we come home, LOL. It was a wonderful time as Keith and his girlfriend Lulu were with us as well. Just lots of family time and togetherness which is always nice. I think of you every day but the holidays are even harder for me since we had such wonderful memories spent with family at Nana and granddad’s. You were so close with them and it’s so sad that they are not able to be in your life. One day hopefully soon you will allow them back in as they are not getting any younger and I pray for that more than I pray for our reunification. Anyway, I hope you had a wonderful Thanksgiving and Christmas and wish you a very happy new year my love. I hope and pray we will all be back together soon. I miss you so much.
