Hey Zach, hoping this message finds you well. Just another update on the goings-on here. Big news, we ended up selling the house in Walnut Creek solely due to it being such a good market and our thoughts of moving out of California one day. We are renting an apartment downtown Walnut Creek. It’s quite convenient but a little pricey so we continue to look for rentals in Benicia which is where we would love to be. In other news, sadly we lost Stitch to cancer. We were going to have him euthanized but he ended up dying in my arms which I hope in someway it was comfort to him. It was devastating and now Rudy is our only kitty. I am sure he will be very lonely.

Your friend Brittany got married last October 2020, but the ceremony was very small given that we were in Covid lockdown. She had a reception last month to which we were invited and it was so good to see her and her husband Connor so happy and able to celebrate. We also had a visit from Jeff’s parents who drove down from Washington. We were able to take them over to Benicia to show them the little town and why we want to live there so badly. We had a nice relaxing visit and they were able to help us do some packing for the move which was great. 

Huge updates on Jeff’s side of the family! His brother got married and we were up in Washington to participate in the ceremony. They got married at home in their new house so we stayed a few more days to celebrate with them. We are so happy for Keith and his new wife Lulu 💗

A quick update on Cody, he is living up in Portland and driving for Uber eats. He is also expecting a baby girl in June with a gal named Jacinda. I am very excited and happy for him as I know he will make a wonderful father. Anyway, hope all is well with you and that you have some exciting things going on in your life. I miss you very much.

Hi Zach, we are waiting for spring to come here in Benicia as most days have been  rainy and chilly. Your mom has always loved beach weather and can’t wait for summer lol. Hope that wherever you are, you are enjoying the outdoors. Aside from celebrating Jeff’s 54th birthday, February was fairly quiet around here. I have been working a lot of shifts at the winery which is still the best job ever and Jeff and I have been preparing for the first vacation. we have had alone together in two years. We flew down to Curaçao, which is part of the Netherland Antilles and is close to Aruba. We had a very relaxing and amazing time in the warm weather and on the beautiful beaches. Came home to that drizzly chill and are back to waiting for sunshine. I often wonder if you travel for fun and if so, what places you have discovered and if you have any favorites. We have a couple more trips coming up this year, one to visit your uncle Gregg and auntie Kim now that they live in Portugal. Al...

Holiday Spirit

  Dear Zach, hoping you got the Christmas and birthday cards I sent to you. Cannot believe you are 30 years old now. I can’t really say time has flown given  that not being able to see you has left a huge void in our lives. The holiday season is always bittersweet in that our family always finds ways to celebrate and love one another, but there  are always thoughts of missing  you intertwined.  Jeff and I flew Cody down for the Benicia annual Christmas tree lighting and to see Nana and granddad. It was a short but very special weekend. I have included the video where Cody surprised your grandparents with his visit. It made them both so happy. It was Jeff’s family’s turn for Christmas so we flew up to Washington to be with his nephew, Maxon and the rest of the family. When I’m Sixty-Four.

Hi Zach, well, now I am officially the age of a Beatles song. It’s hard to believe I’m that old and have yet to reunite with you. It’s been almost 15 years.  I think of you every day of my life and pray that you are happy and loved.  Of course, October means Halloween, one of my favorite holidays. We met up with friends to celebrate and I dressed as Beth from the television show Yellowstone. Perhaps you’ve heard of it. Earlier in the month your aunt Christine and I went to a meet and greet for the actor Sam Heughan from outlander. It’s a show. We are both obsessed with that takes place in 18th century Scotland around the clan Fraser. Up until a few years ago, I had no idea that Jeff’s family are Fraser’s and Fraser is his younger brother‘s and father’s middle name. My head exploded lol.
