Celebrations galore!

Hi Zach, hope you are having a fabulous summer. Lots to celebrate this last couple of months. My granddaughter, your niece, Emunah, turned one on June 22, and Jeff and my nephew on his side of the family, Maxon, also turned one on 6/30. Earlier in the month, your brother turned 31! still can’t believe he’s now in his 30s, it’s crazy. Granddad turned 88 on July 1 and he and Nana had their 68th wedding anniversary on 16 July. We marked all of these with various celebrations. Cody was able to attend Emunah‘s birthday party up in Oregon, and we celebrated granddad‘s birthday and his and Nana‘s anniversary with auntie Kim and uncle Gregg up in Santa Rosa.

Jeff’s parents drove down for a weeklong visit. They were able to go to several barbecues with all of our new neighbors, watched the torchlight parade in celebration of July 4 along with some waterfront fireworks we are able to see from our deck. We also took them to Murphy‘s for a couple of nights. They had a really good time and so did we. Now that we have been in Benicia almost a year, we have also been enjoying all of the live music playing locally every week. There are some really talented musicians in the area and it’s been so much fun getting to know all of the different bands.

Anyway, as I said, I do hope you are having a really great summer. I would love to show you Benicia at some point and love for you to meet your niece, Emunah. I am going up to see her in September and I cannot wait. Take care sweetheart.

Love, always,
Mom
