Billy and Belize
Hi Zach, we are already moving through winter. Valentine’s Day has come and gone. I often wonder if you have someone special in your life, someone that treats you with love and respect. I do hope so. I am very lucky to have found Jeff as he is devoted and very supportive.
Well, your aunt Christine treated the two of us to a meet and greet with Billy Idol last month as we went to see him in concert up near Roseville. It was our first time actually meeting him, but I think we’ve seen him in concert five times now. So exciting! He is still so good despite being in his late 60s. Would love to know what kind of music you like these days.
Later in the month, we went back to Belize for the fifth time. It is a very special place for us as it is so relaxing and forces you to really unplug and escape the madness. We went with our walnut Creek neighbors and their grown children. I would love for you to experience it at some point, it really is amazing.
In between all that, I started a job at Wooden Valley winery out in the Suisun Valley near where Brittany now lives. I work a couple weekends a month and one or two days during the week here and there. It is a blast to work there as everyone is so close and the winery is run by an Italian family that is so generous and treats us so well. It has been the perfect job for me post retirement and I am so loving it. Where are you working these days and are you enjoying your job?
At home, the cats are keeping us busy. Rudy is almost 16 now and still thriving. The other two are less than two years old and are quite rambunctious. I hope that the year is going well for you so far and that you are enjoying life. As always, I miss you so very much, and wish I could see you again at some point when you are ready. I will always be here, no matter what and will never give up.
Love, always,
Mom
