Summertime
Happy Summer Zach! My favorite time of year as I love the warm weather. I still remember us visiting Oahu and you learning to surf on Waikiki. We had so much fun. June marks our nephew Maxon’ s second birthday, as well as your niece Emunah’s . Jeff and I took a quick trip up to North Bend Washington to visit his brother and celebrate Maxon’ s birthday with family. I am planning a trip to Portland to visit Cody and his daughter in late August. Granddad had surgery on his forearm for melanoma in early July. There were complications and an allergic reaction that hospitalized him and severely traumatized Nana. Everything turned out OK, but it was very scary for everyone at the time. I really wish you were in touch with them. They are getting so much more frail now and contact with you would bring so much positive energy into their lives.
