Hi Zach, I have been kind of sick over the past few weeks and that is part of the reason I am so late in writing this month. By now you have probably been off for winter break or at least the Presidents' day holidays. I heard you may have had some snow down there. Like here it's pretty rare. They said we would have it last Friday but it never did come. Oh well. Too cold for my taste anyway. Lots going on. Jeff and I are learning to speak Italian as he is taking me there over my birthday later this year. I want to be able to converse with the locals as we will stay mostly in the country villages in order to get a real taste of living there. Very excited. On Saturday we successfully surprised Jeff with a 40th birthday party hosted at Michelle's. There were about 30 people or so including Cody, Mitch, Michael, Brittany & Sammy. Hey you, bet you are probably off school today for the President's day holiday. I am here at work and Cody is at school. I have had a really bad cold this past two weeks, first in over 2 years and it hit pretty hard. Not used to being sick like that and even had to miss your Uncle's Superbowl Party and seeing Nana and Granddad. We have had a nice couple of weeks of really warm weather that I missed out on as well. : ( Getting better now though and I am back at work. Not much going on out here. Just getting ready for a couple of trips out of state. Heather is getting married in April and lives in Arizona so we have been invited and will try to go for the weekend to attend the wedding. Plus work is sending me to a conference in Colorado a little after that. The kitties are doing well, though I have had to put Stitch on a diet. At 13.5 pounds, he weighs twice as much as Rudy and the vet said he should lose some so I am trying to cut him back a bit. He really is a big butterball an...
