Hi Zach, well tomorrow Jeff and I are off to the Big Island to stay at your uncle's condo with Ryan and Alicia and their 18-month-old Juliette. Haven't taken a baby to Hawaii since we brought Cody to Maui when he was just one. It will be so fun to watch her take it all in and enjoy the water. Nana and Granddad are cat-sitting for us of course and now that Cody is living with Robbie, he will probably come back to the house for dinner with them a couple of times. Granddad will be doing some handiwork around my place as I have been there over 10 years now and it needs some updates. I am lucky to have Granddad to do those kinds of things for me and it gives him and Nana a chance to visit all their friends in the east bay. You are probably counting down the days to the end of your Junior year of high school. I have so many questions that I hope to learn the answers to someday. Like, have you learned to drive yet? Hi Zach, well I guess you're past the days filled with egg hunts and the Easter Bunny, but I hope you had a nice day and dinner with everyone. Jeff and I took Cody and his girlfriend Jessica out to lunch that day and of course delivered some chocolate. It was nice to be able to meet her and get to know her a little better. Cody has been working very hard at Safeway and seems to be managing his life quite well now that he is on his own. It has rained hard all this week, but we need to catch up so it's all good. We are headed to a 50th birthday dinner in San Mateo tomorrow, it's for one of your Uncle Gregg's and my childhood friends so the whole family will be going including your Nana and Granddad. We have all been really sick with this awful cold over the past couple of weeks. Cody and I had it pretty bad and the cough is hanging on but we are better now.
